In the wake of the current natural disaster in Japan, I have been moved strongly by the unfolding of events and decided to revive back the spirits of the Ai No Nami "Wave of Love" 愛の波; APU-based volunteer organization run its students then during the 2004 Sumatra Earthquake which devastated Indonesia and nearby outlying countries and areas in that region. The contents you will be viewing and seeing here are from the collaborated efforts of the people who have helped promote the project intended to raise the awareness about the tsunami and earthquake calamities locally and worldwide. This in light of the urge to help one another and pass on the wave of love and care or similarly, the "pay-it-forward" effect. We may feel unable to help in our own ways being so far from Japan and the similarly calamity-stricken areas around the world directly, but by having and feeling the same virtue of empathy and care for others, we may help change the world along the way and in essence, pass this message and our own love to those affected indirectly someway and somehow. The song entitled, "The Wave Song", was composed out of the deepest emotions that had fluttered in my heart and mind when the calamity struck then during the so-called 2004 Indo-Ocean Sumatra Tsunami Disaster. I know that this might not be the end of such disasters but by taking it as a chance to spread the wave of love somehow, we could always be remembered of its lessons and learnings from that painful experience.
